For design innovation studio Takram’s London outpost, Sam Jacob Studio has created a ‘uncooked but refined’ space outlined by a composition of frameworks and armatures appearing as workspace, storage and partitions. White horizontal planks are supported by a collection of objects and material fragments assembled by way of a method of stacking and piling. The outcome varieties a fabric library of textures and shapes – cement board sits alongside marble panels, concrete subsequent to timber, orange tinted acrylic tubes and reflective chromed pipe. Meanwhile powder coated metal frames create a skeleton of a kitchen and workshop area, and are also used for customized furnishings such as the lengthy main office desk.
